The NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory actively supports postgraduate education at both the national and international levels. In Greece, it supports the Interinstitutional MA Animal Welfare, Ethics, and Law, jointly organised by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Pasteur Institute. It also supports two international postgraduate programmes: the MSc Leadership: Ethics and Politics, offered jointly by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Sulaimani in Iraq, and the MA Bioethics – Health Care Ethics, organised by the Open University of Cyprus.
Alongside its contribution to postgraduate education, the Laboratory has developed a comprehensive educational outreach programme for secondary education. Through this initiative, it offers specially designed instructional courses to high-school students, introducing them to ethics, bioethics, environmental ethics, and philosophy more broadly. In this way, the Laboratory seeks to cultivate philosophical reflection, ethical awareness, and critical thinking from an early stage of education.
