Dr Georgia E. Livieri is a Digital Health Ethicist whose research focuses on bioethics, human rights, artificial intelligence, and responsible digital health innovation. Her academic development has been strengthened through international training programmes and scholarships. She has presented her work at international scientific conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals and international reports. She also serves as a reviewer for scientific journals and delivers lectures and workshops on digital health ethics and responsible innovation. She has extensive experience as an Ethics Manager for Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects, providing ethical oversight for multidisciplinary research in collaboration with ICT companies, organisations and universities. As an ethics educator, she has designed and delivered seminars, workshops, and professional training programmes for universities, research institutions, healthcare professionals, and industry partners in Greece and internationally. She actively contributes to advancing bioethics through international leadership and service. She serves as Head of the Executive Committee of the Cyprus Bioethics Unit of the International Chair in Bioethics and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine (ELEFI). Her work focuses on bridging ethical theory with practice by developing strategies that embed ethics and human values into the design, implementation, and governance of trustworthy digital innovation.
