Aikaterini Ntakoula holds a bachelor’s degree in Philology from the School of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina, with a specialization in Classical Philology. She has completed a master’s degree (M.Ed.) in Educational Sciences (Hellenic Open University) and has focused on issues related to adult education and distance learning. As a secondary school teacher, she has worked in the private sector, in public education, and in adult education. Since 2003, she has consistently taught the Philosophy course as a humanities teacher in secondary education, utilizing project-based and group collaboration techniques. She has volunteered in the fields of mental health, counseling, and career guidance as a certified mental health counselor (Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counseling, approved by the Council for Counseling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA)), and has written articles on philosophical, educational, and psychological topics. She has organized and presented educational and cultural programs. She has attended numerous training seminars, workshops, and programs and has served as a presenter at several conferences. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Applied Ethics. Her research interests lie in the fields of Applied Ethics, Bioethics, the intersection of philosophy and pedagogical approaches, and the Philosophy of Mind and Ethics.
