AIKATERINI SAMOLI

I was born in Athens in 2004. I graduated from the 3rd General High School of Ano Liosia in 2022. I am an undergraduate student in the department of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My introduction to this department gave me the opportunity to get in touch with the world of Philosophy and its branches, something which prompted me to see the world through a different lens. My academic interests include Philosophy of Technology, Applied Ethics and Bioethics, as I have attended relevant seminars and conferences, through which I learned even more interesting information. Applied philosophy captivated me from the very first moment, as I believe it offers useful and interdisciplinary knowledge that can be applied in many situations. Lastly, I am particularly drawn to the combination of philosophy with psychology, a field that has interested me since a young age and witch I wish to pursue alongside applied philosophy. The collaboration of these two will provide me with the ideal resources to continue my professional career in a creative way.
