Ilya – Meliti Kollia is a Clinical Cognitive Neuropsychologist with a clinical and research focus on neurodegeneration, rare dementias, and movement disorders. Her work centers on neuropsychological assessment and the exploration of the intricate relationship between brain function, behavior, and personality. She is currently advancing her studies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), aiming to bridge clinical practice with theoretical and empirical research. Her academic path integrates Neuropsychology with Applied Philosophy, within the framework of the Laboratory of Applied Philosophy, where she explores the philosophical and epistemological dimensions of psychopathology. Her interdisciplinary perspective combines Cognitive and Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychotherapies, and Neuropsychoanalysis, reflecting an approach that unites scientific precision with philosophical depth. She also holds a degree in Social Theology and Religious Studies, cultivating an additional interest in the Psychology of Religion and the existential dimensions of mental experience. Her engagement with the work of Panagiotis Oulis has been pivotal in shaping her focus on the Philosophy of Scientific Psychopathology and the interface between neuroscience and psychological theory.
